Technician Responsibilities at Hagerstown Kia

When you work as a technician at Hagerstown Kia, you will be expected to receive repair orders from the dispatcher and take the vehicle to the stall area. From there, you will need to perform work on the repair order, including diagnosing the cause of malfunctions. As you perform service, you will need to work accurately and efficiently while meeting and following federal, state, and local regulations, as well as dealership and factory standards. If you find that the vehicle needs additional work, that the work on the repair order is not necessary, or that the repairs cannot be completed in the promised time period, you will need to let the service advisor know right away. As you perform the work, you must document it; in addition, you will need to communicate with the parts department to get any parts that you need. If the job is under warranty, or if the customer requests it, you will also need to tag and save parts. Finally, you will need to quality check your work and road test the vehicle to ensure that the customer's complaint is addressed.
